Not just for kids. The lake is kind of disappointingly small. But the animal park and the kids playground makes up to it.

Beautiful area..unfortunately, no that many benches and no public toilets .. all the animals are very close … be sure not to wear your white shoes! Otherwise, it’s gonna be black ????

Best explored by bicycle. The space is large and quiet. A nice area to relax, picnic or jus exercise. Most of the paths are shaded by trees.

A wonderful park to have a walk and ride the bike .. you will see there many animals and wooden artworks .. there's a place for kids too they can play safely otherwise it's directly to Südstadt you can buy what you want from Lidl and start your tour

Nice Park for a bike ride or walk.
There are some animal cages (not too many) with quite good space compared to a zoo (only the owl's cage was too short. I seet is free to visit (no tickets needed).
It is quite difficult to park a car nearby so have inn mind you may need to walk to get there from the parking place.

Amazing idea, very nice in the middle of the forest. However when I was there, some part was quite uncared with so huge grass, that was even hard to notice the animals. Hopefully just bad timing from my side.
