Pension Schramm is our first choice when visiting German friends living nearby. Despite the worsening exchange rate, it is still wonderful value. Frau and Herr Schramm are friendly and welcoming hosts, and their spacious rooms are spotless and well equipped - including kettles and filter coffee machines in the largest rooms. Breakfasts offer a wide choice of cereals, juices, yoghurts, fruit, breads, meats, cheeses and home-made jams. Boiled eggs are available every day, but creamy scrambled eggs and even bacon and egg are on offer too.
The Pension is well placed for public transport. The bus stop is 100 yards up the road, with a bus (no. 47) every 20 minutes or so to the city’s railway station. It also links with the extensive tram network in nearby Wolfartsweier.
We wouldn’t stay anywhere else. 100% recommended.

Die Pensionsbesitzer und ihr süßer Hund sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.
