2 Cristina Catan - 3 weeks ago
I have been to this hospital twice with the same problem in 2 weeks: gallstones. The first time, coming with extremely bad blood tests and huge pain (liver indices were more than 2000 for a norm up to 35), I waited in the emergency room for more than 8 hours before being admitted.
The next day, I had a stone removal procedure which went well and the doctor who cared for me was very kind. He explained to me that I needed surgery in less than 1 month because the situation could repeat itself. However, I received the surgery for the end of September (I was in the hospital at the end of July). Exactly 2 weeks after the first stone blockage, the situation repeated itself. I came to the hospital again, they admitted me but the next day sent me home because they said as long as I don't have fever and the big pains are gone - I'm fine. To come only if the big pains come back, if I turn yellow, if I get fever over 38 and if I can't anymore. The appointment for the surgery they didn't change it, I was told I had to endure the pain and everything else. They effectively banished me home to suffer.
It was my first experience in a German hospital and I was very disappointed.
Besides all that, No shower available in the rooms or even on the floor.
PS: unfortunately , the nurses and all the staff apart from the doctors were not able to speak any English.
