At the "Ludwigsplatz" in the centre of Karlsruhe with a very nice outdoor and indoor ambiente. Outdoor seating is so beautifully decorated with oleander plants, many parasols and the very decent seating (important for lower-back patients). We simply had a beer as we were on tour with our bikes but having looked at the menu we will definitely be back.
We had a very friendly and kind waitress who's a student and who naturally made us feel very welcome! ???? Thanks!

Presentation- amazing

Knuckle- worst I have ever had

So, I really wanted to like this place, and I wanted so badly to find an acceptable pork knuckle in this area. The knuckle was beautiful, but that is it. The skin appeared to be nice an crispy, but it turns out that it was hard as a rock and unchewable. There was also some hair left in it ????. The meat inside was extremely tough—it should have been melt in your mouth. The rest of the food was okay, but was seriously lacking in salt and flavor generally. Our server was great and very hospitable. This place has potential, but the food must speak for itself.

Iam here for the special german food called HAXE :D ..it was good but can be better as i had really good one in Hochs (near to frankfurt)..Strudel was really really MUST TRY ..so love it ! Hospitality is ok !

Close to the city centre, nice classy restaurant, wide variety of germany dishes. The staff was polite and fast.

Very nice. Simple food done extremely well. Great range of beers. Friendly and helpful staff who were very forgiving of our terribly (non-existant) German language ability

Good place to have lunch, dinner with friends, family, get together, host food with colleagues, etc. The interiors are warm and cozy. Old and conventional French style architecture and designing. Well preserved and maintained.
Food is just too amazing and excellently served. Prices are a bit over rated but worth for once in a while visit. Good place for dinner dates and catch up with friends.
There are many tables and chairs hence there wouldn't be much crowd and chaos.

The food is just amazing! Lovely schnitzel with French fries, friendly and good service. Awesome cocktails and beers to drink at the terrace that's on a nice open area. If you're ever in the neighborhood and wan't some great German food, go here!
