The service is just great! A room was made available to us already in the morning without needing to ask. Breakfast isn't the most lavish ever, but there's an excellent tea selection, my husband liked the coffee too, and fresh baked goods, hot sausages, eggs and bacon. Vegetarians will find lots to eat, vegans not so much, but I'm sure the staff would accommodate special requests if made in advance. The building is quite interesting - seems to be 3 buildings merged into one with three different staircases. The floors are color-coded - fun detail, and the room is comfortable and clean with very heavy blankets (!).

The town itself is the least remarkable place you will probably visit in your life. However, we were there for a wedding and looked for a clean, affordable and central place to stay, and this hotel was it. They were easy going on the early check in time, the reception lady was incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful. Lovely people!

I had a real great time at this hotel, it was "simple", but the quality of the services were great. People working there are very welcoming and rooms are super clean and well designed :)
Price was really worth it, some say the rooms are a bit small, but space wasn't something I need, as I visited the city.
I also had a super great breakfast, well managed and well served.
Thanks again for the good time :)

Note : Documents about hotel and other written stuff is all in german, may be a bit annoying for foreigners, like me, I couldn't read some informative stuff, maybe translate them ?

This family owned hotel is nothing fancy, but with its clean rooms and nice personnel it gets the job done for a very acceptable price. Good location between the train station and the town center, with a two minute walk to some of the main tram lines. The rooms are also very quite, which is a rare quality at the moment due to a lot of major building sites around the city.

The hotel is actually okay but a couple of problems occured during my stay! The hotel is located close to werderplatz where people drink day and night. It can become really noisy and quite disturbing if you are looking for a quiet room. I wouldnt recommend for family. Quite common in karlsruhe, the room price and the rooms value dont match at all! I stood there several times (always single room) but never got a modern room! The walls are super thin and i could hear the person snorring 2 rooms further! I tried to arrange a fixed rate per night since i planned to stay there more than 100 nights/year but once the hotel manager accepted and agreed on the price and deal, he changed his mind on the day of first arrival and asked for 25% more per night for any further time i stay there although i got a confirmed price black on white! He started shouting at me on the phone and this was really insulting! The staff was fine but the manager's behaviour was inappropriate.

The room was very worn down. Not recommended for business travelers, okay for students. Very small rooms and the shower stall is not suitable for anyone slightly above average size. Shower stall footprint is about 70cm x 70cm...
