Ein sehr nettes Kaffee und für Karlsruhe eine willkommene Bereicherung. Das Ambiente ist luftig, hell und gemütlich. Ein guter Platz, um sich wohl zu fühlen und mit Freunden zu treffen. Die richtigen Leute scheinen es nur noch finden zu müssen, denn jedesmal wenn ich bisher dort war, war es erstaunlich dünn besetzt. Und das, obwohl auf dem Parkettfußboden Goethes Erlkönig eingraviert ist, und man mit einem Blick zur Wand sehen kann, was die Stunde in London, Paris und New York geschlagen hat. Was will man mehr?

Können wir noch was für Sie tun? Ich weiß, das Cafe ist so gedacht, dass man an der Theke bestellt und bezahlt, aber aus meiner Sicht hat das nur seinen Charme, wenn wirklich viel los ist. Sonst wirkt es auf mich eher unpersönlich. Und für einen 5. Stern müsste es eine Killerauswahl an Kuchen und Torten geben. Dann würde ich sehr wahrscheinlich dort einziehen.
Alles in allem ein gut gelungenes und schönes Cafe mit 3 wohlverdienten Sternen, das ich gerne weiter empfehle.
