We've celebrated my sister's wedding at the Cottage in Heidelberg recently and everything was just perfect. The staff was very friendly and set up the tables beautifully, they were helpful and kind and very child friendly, attentive and fun. The food was amazing both the meat and the vegetarian options. They honestly cared about all of us and made us feel very welcome. I would always recommend it! Thank you team!

Highly recommended. Perfect Spanish appetizer, nice atmosphere, average price, warm hospitality by a wonderful service team.

Heidelberg has plenty of nice restaurants, this is unfortunately not one of them. The prices are high, the service extremely slow (and not very friendly). The waiters explained that the restaurant was undergoing renovations and training, but if it's not possible to serve the tables in a timely manner, the restaurant should close for the renovations. Charging exorbitant prices without proper service sends a message of disrespect for the customers.
And the food? Average (not worth the price, but not bad).

Dishes arrived very slowly, in a mixed strange way so that some people received their food when others had already finished (their main dish). The food quality was alright but still didn't match the high prices, whereas the food didn't arrive very warm in some cases.
The server was annoyed and yelled at harmless kids from other tables, who ran in and out, even though nobody around seemed to complain.
When we asked to pay, he said: "meine hubsche Kollegin kommt sofort".
Need I say more?

Nice setting but a little expensive and service was polite but a little slow. Drinks were ok, fairly strong cocktails. Food looked fairly fancy but we didn't eat.

I go to the dance school attached to this building and I once drank a Coca-Cola here and it was good.
