Place to avoid. "French" bakery that has nothing french.
Bought 2 quiches, waited 10min for them to get them warm, but they were still completely frozen. Went back and ask for them to put them back in the oven, wait another 10min, only to have them back still cold...

They also have a few tables so one can order a cup of tea or coffee and try the pastries
They also sell French products

Lovely brownies, coffee and macarons of course. The staff is also very sweet. Definitely worth trying. Like to come here again and again.

It can be really hard to find a decent croissant in Heidelberg. La Flamm is definitely vying for the best in town. Avoid the filled ones however. They are hard and dry. The pastries are also good, though they may be better at the Neuenheim location. Regardless, a wonderful place to enjoy Märzgasse, while enjoying a nice croissant.

We saw the sign about galette des rois freshly baked everyday so we came by early the next open day, to get told it's on order only, which wasn't written, so I was a bit disapointed... :( I tried macarons (only 1,40€) tasty but soft in the middle (I, personnally, prefer a firmer texture).

The pastries are very good! Th butter croissant is as one in France.
