Great very tasty food, beautifully presented. The portions had a good size. The staff was very attentive and friendly, always with a big smile. Super cool atmosphere, nice decoration, specially the many modern paintings... and a really amusing thing are the fairy tales you can listen to, when going to the (ladies) toilet. Will be coming again for sure.

One of the best 4-course meals I've ever had. Every dish was unbelievably flavourful and beautifully presented. This isn't one of those experimental restaurants with fussy and strange food combinations nor is it lovingly created comfort food. It's not "classic" either. It's seriously good, perfectly prepared and accessible - at a cost. All this served by an attentive and friendly staff in a brilliant space that's both comfortable and seriously elegant at the same time. Worth every euro.
I walked past on the way to another restaurant. I went in because the space was so inviting. No reservation. I didn't even look at the menu before sitting down. I knew it would be good. This is a case where the book and the cover were absolutely in sync.

Beautiful terrace outside and beautiful bar inside. Perfect service, super tasty elegant food, chic restaurant, nicely muted music ... fabulous fish soup and fabulously cooked cod. Should have a more vegetarian/fish/seafood options as meat (eg Wiener Schnitzel, Fillet) is nice but not special. Even fun fairy tale experience on the lavatory. All in all a wonderful experience and everything very instagramable.

Great fine dining experience in Heidelberg!
We a had a beautiful evening at 959 right after the Covid-19 lockdown and enjoyed everything single minute. The restaurant itself is absolutely stunning with great architecture and art. The restaurant bar is massive with an amazing selection of spirits. We skipped the tasting menu and picked some dishes a-la-carte. Every single plate was just beautiful and delicate. Our dessert was served in the next door smokers bar where you can enjoy the rest of the night with a cocktail in your hand. Great evening!

Is not bad, but there is place for improvement....
They have a very nice varanda right in front of the restaurant. The restaurant is decorated nicely but, with bad pictures hanging on the walls. Food was good but a bit overpriced, service was great! Really nice people. Most of the waitresses speak English. If you want to have more experience about food have a look: kochenfueringenieure.de

Most probably the best restaurant in Heidelberg. Maybe they can work a bit at service ( with the restaurant open with got a sit on an isolated corner )
