I was an Indian visiting the restaurant for the first time. They have severely adapted the dishes to german taste-buds. I did not find the actual taste of the Indian dishes. Leave it the spicy-ness, I understand not everyone can withstand dishes that hot. But the masalas and the flavour. That I didn't expect it to be absent. The ambience was good though. And staff understood Hindi.

Worst experience....!!!

I visited this place recently with one of German colleague. We ordered Chicken Tikka masala and naan. When we tasted chicken Tikka masala it has bitter/tangy taste so I complained about it and I insisted waiter to taste it, he was reluctant earlier to accept mistake and after tasting he accepted that something is wrong and took back our dish. Within 5 minutes, waiter came back with same dish which tastes same so we complained about it to owner. Then I experienced something really terrible. Owner was so rude and arrogant that he was not ready to accept that something was wrong and he was rude to us. (as waiter already tasted and accepted mistake)

Food and ambience is pretty good but please check the map of India on your menu.. Aksai chin region is missing.. please get it corrected, as an Indian i didn’t like an incorrect map of India on the menu of Hannover’s oldest Indian restaurant!!

Good authentic Indian food we liked the special paneer curry which was not creamy but rather made in tomato and onion base and the Amritsari daal tarka with stuffed aloo paratha

A tasty indian with reasonable prices. Portions were of a good size. Staff was kind and service was quick, although it was towards the end of the day, so the place was not packed.
The menu had an english section.

Decent decor. The food is super expensive. I can't say much about the staff, for some reason they seemed disinterested.
I order garlic naan which was very dry and tough to chew. I also ordered mutton bhunna which was decent, can't say this was the best I've eaten by any stretch if imagination. The samosa (again very very expensive) was super tasty, very spicy exactly how I would have liked it. It was not fresh, I am certain. it was probably the best thing I tasted in the restaurant.
I asked for water atleast 3 times, but it never came, which is sad. I was really thirsty:(
