A place to be. Great service. Excellent food. A supreme wine list. I like the french style kitchen. If you can get a table in the cellar, don't hesitate!

We went there (whilst visiting Hannover for a week) to celebrate our Wedding Anniversary and we did not regret it! The food is good value for money and is lovingly served by staff who know and care about it. There were some very interesting combinations and we very much enjoyed the evening. Well done indeed!!

(Translated by Google) A fine evening at Schubert's: beautiful restaurant, nice and attentive service, ambitious cuisine, with a mix of different influences (not just French, but also Italian, Spanish and Portuguese). Great vegan dishes! The Riesling sparkling wine was excellent! Better than some champagnes. Interesting (and clean of course!) toilets upstairs. Overall the food was very good, if not perfect at times. The mise-en-bouche was delicious, but the amuse-gueule was banal, the pot-au-feu of mussels didn't taste like pot-au-feu. The meat from the coq-au-vin looked surprisingly light, maybe not braised in red wine after all, but it was really juicy and tender. The fish (catfish fillet) was a bit too dry although cooked sous vide. But the plate was set up really creative. Or the sauce from the mushroom ravioli was too intense for the actual dish. Desserts were fine. The background music was sometimes too dominant and for us stylistically it didn't always match the venue. But overall we had a nice evening.

Ein feiner Abend bei Schubert: schöner Lokal, nette und aufmerksame Bedienung, ehrgeizige Küche, mit einem Mix von verschiedene Einflüsse (nicht nur Französischen auch Italienischen, Spanischen, Portugiesischen). Tolle vegan Speisen! Der Riesling Sekt war hervorragend! Besser als manche Champagner. Interessante (und saubere natürlich!) Toiletten im OG. Das Essen war insgesamt sehr gut, auch wenn manchmal nicht perfekt. Die ‚Mise-en-Bouche’ waren lecker, aber das Amüse-gueule war banal, das Pot-au-feu von Muscheln schmeckte nicht wie ein Pot-au-feu. Das Fleisch vom Coq-au-vin sah erstaunlich hell aus, vielleicht doch nicht in Rotwein geschmort, aber war richtig saftig und zart. Der Fisch (Welsfilet) war obwohl sous vide gekocht etwas zu trocken. Dafür der Teller war richtig kreativ eingerichtet. Oder die Sauce von den Pilzen Ravioli war zu intensiv für die eigentliche Speise. Desserts waren fein. Die Hintergrundmusik war teilweise zu dominant und für uns stilistisch nicht immer passend zum Lokal. Aber wir haben insgesamt einen schönen Abend verbracht.
