I went last week and paid for a room that said it had air conditioner. It didn't work, and reception didn't answer. When we did the checkout, we said to the receptionist that the air conditioner wasn't working and she didn't care at all.
We had to sleep then with open windows, on a street full of drunk people that didn't let us sleep well.

The room was small but quite nice. Conveniently close to the Hauptbanhof. I liked the decorations, the view was very good, and the breakfast was great. Wifi signal was good in the room.

Great place at a great location, 2 minutes to train and bus central stations, also very close to local public transport stations.

Very good housekeeping and professional and friendly staff.

Also the public transport card is a great bonus.

Two minor notes that have nothing to do with the hotel itself, first, response on an email query to customer service took more than 2 working days which is a bit too much, second is the nearby area occupied by drunks and junkies, but that's quite easily avoidable and the people do not bother passerbys too much anyway.

I am positively impressed. I booked Standart room but they offered me the Business room instead without additional payment.
Hotel is definitely worth the money was paid.
Service and personnel were perfect.
Only because of the hospitality there i decided to choose Intercity Hotel for my stay in Hamburg too.
Special Thank to the man on reception (unfortunately forgot the name) who helped me to book the room in Intercityhotel Hamburg.
Zones for improve: booking service in a Intercityhotels site. I received confirmation about registration there only in the next day. I think you lost a lot of clients due to this issues.

I have not made a reservation but was present whilst a friend was making a reservation. I called beforehand and was told a different price to what I had to pay. I arrived and spoke to a gentleman who claims his name was “Mathew” in a white hoodie. Very unfriendly and not Co-operative. He made countless mistakes whilst making my reservation including my name and residence. Unprofessional guy who has put a real downer to our night.
