We stayed here for one night as a stop on our way to Berlin. The hotel reception is funky and modern, but the rooms do not reflect this image. By all means there was nothing wrong with the room, spacious, clean, plenty of storage space. But it is decorated completely differently from downstairs, it is quite dated in it's style. However, the bed was very comfortable and we were happy! We didn't have breakfast in the hotel as we did not want to eat a lot and we found better value on the high street. The hotel is in a brilliant location, very close to the train station and shopping/restaurant area. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Hotel is good and suitable, with a very good price/performance ratio. It is situated quite near the city center, nearby public transportation options. Staff was friendly and helpful, our very early check-in was no problem, as well as the very late check-in of our other guests.
The room I stayed in was clean and airy. beds were bunk beds and a somewhat stiff mattress. However, at this price-point I wouldn´t expect anything else.

Great location - central for everything. Room was very basic and small, but I hadn't paid a lot and was alone so that was OK by me. I give two stars as, on the second night, I decided to return and have a couple of beers in the bar. When I asked where the toilet was, the man behind reception told me in no uncertain terms that ' I should use the toilet in my room as it late and I should stay there'. Charming. I did and didn't use the bar again. I may add that other people were still using the bar and he obviously wanted rid of them. So, good hotel. Other receptionists were great. Spoiled by this person's lack of customer service. Pity.

Extremely clean, fairly quiet, spacious rooms and the staff were friendly u0026 professional. We stayed in the hostel part. The receptionists spoke good English and said the reception was manned 24/7. Comfortable beds, small tv and towels in the room. Breakfast is meant to be tasty but we ate somewhere else so cannot comment on that. There is some parking in the streets around (not sure of the pricing as we only stayed on Sunday and that was free), and a paid parking lot behind the hostel. Unfortunately, the part we stayed in doesn’t have a lift and we were on the 2nd or 3rd floor. Also, the colour scheme of our room was quite drastic with navy blue and bright yellow walls / furniture.

When travelling from the UK, be aware that in continental Europe in general they tend to take a less strict approach to safety. Of course it’s a generalisation but I have seen it many times. In this particular hostel, the top bunk was very high and had almost no barrier and the two big windows opened freely and fully (being placed quite low in the wall), which was not ideal considering how high it was and the fact that we were travelling with children. Other than that, well worth recommending.

Nice hotel with art-deco style rooms. Situated across the street from a popular bar/restaurant and busy street, which can be very noisy at night. Closing the windows at these times is not an option when it's hot, because the rooms don't have airconditioning unfortunately. But considering the rates I would recommend thus place!

Good hotel. Clean and comfortable. Nice and modern interior. Very good location in 5 minutes from the city center. But to late chekin at 15.00. After 23.00 you can't get tea in bar.

Fabulous hotel even during the renovation. Rooms nice size and comfortable beds. Just perfect for our needs. Very hip. Will only stay there in the future when in Hannover.
