I first visited this restaurant 5 years ago when my son was married and it was good back then, so I had an ache to revisit. After 5 years you wonder if it will be the same, will it be as delicious as the first time? Of course it was! It seems this restaurant is a bit of and institution in Hannover with a history of excellent Italian cookery, great service and a busy amiable atmosphere going hand in hand with the bustle of enthusiastic waiting staff who happily and with some joviality prepare your selected carpachio, or spaghetti parmesan at tableside. If you love Italian food, want and authentic experience but without having to travel to Genoa or Rome, plan a lunch or evening here. I doubt that you will be disappointed.

Take care when you pay, they double the invoice and increase the numbers of order in the invoice

They neither had the drink (just Bitter Lemon) nor the main I had originally ordered, so the waiter offered a free dessert as an apology, which I thought was a nice touch.

The free appetizers and the starter were decent, but both main dishes we ordered were unfortunately very bland indeed and the pasta was overcooked.

The "free" dessert was good, but imagine my surprise when it showed up on the bill...

Based on my experience I wouldn't recommend going here, there are Italian restaurants in Hanover with better food and better service.

Very friendly. Great service. We had Ossobuco and I had a youth revival, I saw myself eating it at my grandma... Great moment. The wine was good. The price was fair! A place to go!

Lovely place! Vibrant atmosphere, friendly and professional staff, very good and quick service. Nice decor, although the place is quite small hence fairly crowded, which may be the only downside of the restaurant. Good wine. Not the cheapest place, for two main courses (no starters and no desserts) two glasses of wine, mineral water and two coffies we've paid €57 but felt it was worth it!

I am surprised with all of these nice reviews. In fact, I have also chose this restaurant based on that. But I have to say the main dishes we ordered were so bad, not tasty and with not fresh ingredients. I am so disappointed. It is pity because inside the restaurant was cozy and clean. Such a bad experience I had there.
