A true treasure find in the outskirt suburbs of Hanover. A blackboard menu during the day and a formal printed (more extensive) menu during the evening. Set adjacent to a large open area it has beaut outdoor and indoor seating. Service is friendly and slick, the food absolutely wonderful. This is a great place to arrive hungry! The serving sizes are a feature.
Yes, the outside area has a set of cute little beach side like cabanas.
Highly recommended.

Absolutely best currywurst I've had in a long time. Fresh fried crunchy fries excellent. Then as desert Raspberry sorbet with creamy white sauce wow tastebuds exploded..Try the breakfast from Stanley local produce.

We ate Carpaccio and some soup with onions for starters. Both starters were very tasty, enough seasoned and perfectly combined with small but perfect amount of dressing/salad/crunch. They bake their own bread, and it was so good, we had to buy one loaf for home (yes, you can do it). For main dishes, we had steaks with some potatoes and homemade sauce and it was probably the best meat we ate in Hannover. For deserts, we had a plate with some ice cream, raspberry sauce and chocolate cake (more like some type of a brownie). Overall, it was very good. The only minus is that the place is a little bit small and sometimes overcrowded.

Ordered the schnitzel. It was greasy, service was poor. Was in the not so good part of the city. Perhaps ok German food. If I was still 18, probably wouldn't have complained about the grease. Nothing special...Friend had suggested the place. Needless to say I'm not taking any suggestions from her anymore...
They don't accept any foreign debit or credit card!!! Had to leave my friend as hostage as I searched for a nearby ATM. Can't really recommend to tourists...

Old fashioned german coffee shop from the 80th for elderly people.
The place needs decoration .
But it is a good place to meet up with local people over 60.
