I checked this place the day before the visits while I'm passing through. The queue and the complete transparent shopping window told me "Tomorrow you will stop here for a Cinnamon Roll!".

The next day is the best stop ever for a bread and bakery lovers like me. Nice people, nice flavors and very good bread!

Great way to start the day, the sooner you get here the better the cakes/ pastries are. I loved the chocolate one. Good coffe and service. The price though is a bit too much although the quality of the food can make up for it.

A coffee shop that I will definitely stop by when I go shopping nearby. This time I invited friends who came to Germany for vacation to try it.

There is always a long line of customers here and after my visit I can understand why: it is awesome! highly recommend the cinnamon rolls (along with a delicious cup of coffee). Friendly staff. You will reach this bakery after walking about 5-10 minutes from Altona's train station.

Zeit für Brot is a great cafe with killer cinnamon buns (Zimt Schnecke). The place was really busy and crowded during our Sunday late afternoon visit, which speaks volumes about the quality of their pastries and drinks.

For the curious minds, there's a see-through kitchen which you may observe the master bakers making the tastiest cinnamon buns in Altona. It's kid-friendly, as there's a long bench provided for children to prop themselves up to witness the Meister in action.

We didn't try the savoury sandwiches. The sweet buns we've tried were all so good that we had to buy more for tomorrow's breakfast.

Wow! Beautiful pastries that tastes fantastic, combined with a friendly staff…? The cherry on the top all of it being fresh and organic. I’ll be back ????
