We stayed at the Steigenberger Hotel Treudelberg, which is about 1 Kilometers away from the Trattoria Mondello. We were very pleased to find this restaurant.

It's not only "italian food" at the Trattoria. It's very authentic sicilian food: Fresh, lot's of herbs, cooked with love. You really feel the mediterranean. We tried the Vitello Tonnato, sicilian pork from the oven, grilled fish... simply awesome. Check the daily menu at the blackboard. Here you'll find dishes you'll not find at an "normal" italian restaurant. The red housewine is perfect, if you like dry wines. The desserts? Finger-licking!

When we're back in Hamburg, we will come back for sure. Thanks for the perfect evening! KD (France)
