Great bar to have some drinks in the Reeperbahn. This place has such a history, and is even the main set of a movie with the same name as the bar. Definitely a recommendation for anyone coming to Hamburg

The place has a rich history I was told and I guess for all those guests who are there to look into the past - it's simply amazing. The rest (u003dme) only sees a run down pub full of folks and cigarette smoke (yep, in Hamburg smoking inside is still allowed ????), super cheap beer and a morose bartender. ????????u200d♀️

What others have said already. A seedy pub that's been in business since 1953. You need to be either vaccinated, tested or have overcome Covid to get in. You also need to check in via Luca App. Friendly staff, good prices, local, run-down, real atmosphere. We felt safe at all times.

If you know what to expect then you won't be disappointed. It still has the same ambience when Fritz Honka was a regular here .

Don't want shiny and luxury bars? Welcome here. We stopped by to grab a beer as have watched the movie recently and suddenly stayed for hours due to the atmosphere

An interesting breakfast joint. We discovered it on a sunday morning. It was already pretty busy at 10.a.m and everyone seemed in a good mood.
