Went and saw 49 shades of grey, on 4july2014, 3 row seats. From the outside, the building looks a lot bigger, it was a bit tight inside. Then again its a very very old building. Also a small stage, not a lot of props, actually just one prop. But still had a good time. No food or drink for sale inside, bring something with u. A bit pricey overall.

Great venue...
We (VOG) performed here six times always with a great response from the audience. The stage crew and staff were cool too...they made the best coffee, brewing Jacobs coffee. I made sure I bought some back to Texas with me. Hey, what happened to the steak house that was on the Reeperbahn? Portions were small but flavorful.

Very funny show.

Nice, old-school theatre. Performance (spamalot) was fantastic. Just one problem: there's absolutely no space for your legs.

Interesting historical plaque showing why the original name was changed to St Pauli Theater during NS régime 1941.
