Sleep in Hamburg - St. Pauli

Stayed here for two nights and it was better than expected. Friendly staff at the hotel where we picked up the key. The standard is quite basic, but our triple room had its own section with separate bathrooms and a small kitchen. If you want to live close to St Pauli and Reeperbahn it is perfect. Be prepared for noisy nights though, earplugs are recommended.

If I could give less than 1 star, I would. The room was nothing like advertised in the pictures. Holes in the wall, warped floor, broken shower, mould on the ceiling, horrible lumpy mattress and it wasn't clean. Also the wifi didn't work at all, and the person we contacted about it had zero interest in fixing it. The area itself is shady and one doesn't feel comfortable walking about. Also if you have more luggage than a backpack, the extremely narrow, squeaky staircase is a nightmare. All in all, a terrible experience. We ended up leaving after one night, having booked for 3 nights.

The place is not that bad, we couldn't hear the noise from outside, but we never had WiFi, even though it was included in the price. The street is not the best one, but nothing is far from it. Our windows were broken, so we couldn't open them while we stayed.

Their customer service is unacceptable. They accepted a voucher to change the date of our stay and there is no way to confirm its availability. They don't pick up the phone and they don't answer the mail either.

Perfect location very close to Repperbahn, you can start partying in 1 minute. Surprisingly, the room was very quiet, we couldn't hear much noise because it was facing a closed yard.
The equipment is adequate for a euroweekend.
The building and room itself are a bit squeaky and worn out.
