Lovely café in Hamburg's Stadtpark. Typical for Germany, when the sun shines everyone is outside. Blankets are provided for chilly days. The staff is polite, and although English isn't the mother tongue here, everyone tried their best and we managed very well. Nice menu, with
varied (large !) salads, and one of the best Flammkuchen we've had anywhere. Add good beers, homemade cakes for the afternoon coffee and cake ritual, and pleasant company, many with dogs to pet, and you have an absolute jewel of a spot to finish , or start, your afternoon walk. About 800 meters from the next subway, Borgweg U3, it's a pleasant stroll, or you can hop on the bus that stops at the Planetarium, which is just down the street.
