I was at this place for my birthday .

Sushi was really good they have a lot choices and its really worth , wine is also good.

Cocktails are a no go ???? don’t try them. Drinks are a bit expensive.

Service is not bad or good. But it also depends the mood of the person and how is day was ????????.

Price is on the higher side we paid 120 euros for 2 . But naturally it depends on wht one orders.

Ambiance is less romantic and more formal. Perfect for business meetings etc.

Good Recommendation for a formal evening.

Solid California style sushis in consistently good quality. Few fish choices but good quality of the limited selection. Not the place to go if you are into more Japanese style sushi. Multiple seatings in the evening do not make it a place to hang out for long, but if your are into the very Eppendorfer crowd good place for dinner.
They also have a nice business lunch.
For whatever reason, the staff has always been and is still mostly skinny blond woman.

Ok food. Bad service and bad overall management.

1. Reservation incoherence.
They were booked out for a Friday with ca.2 weeks of anticipation, meaning my reservation for a birthday celebration on Friday 24.06. evening was kind of “difficult“ to get. Anyway, we come and the place is (and stayed) @50% capacity, so they basically said “sit wherever you want“. A reservation didn’t feel necessary, and there was 0 distinctive treatment for a special occasion.
2. Staff crisis.
Very long waiting times for everything. From the reception, to getting the menu, to taking the order, to serving, to picking up dishes. No need to specify minutes and seconds, timing wasn’t right for a place @50%.
3. Absent atmosphere.
When we came the place was quiet, but the waiters were definitely rushing. With the sunset they adjusted the lights couple of times, but it felt rather like a power outage to be honest. And then at 1/2 dinner they turned up the music!
Only at that point the place felt more like what it is.
4. Forgotten table setup.
They accommodated us (2 ppl) on a table for 4, which is ok, but the glasses, cutlery, napkins, etc. at the unused seats just stayed there the whole time. Also we didn’t order wine and they never took the wine glasses initially standing on the table.
5. For the sake’s sake!
We ordered sake, which came in its own type of glass… a black hollow cube sitting by the corners on a mismatched circular coffee-cup plate. A lot of the drink just dropped on the plate while serving and no one bothered to clean or offer a replacement.. Very awkward situation.
6. Good food.
We ordered the 3-course menu and it was a lot of food with what felt like good ingredients. However it was very distant from course to course, to the point of feeling that they just forgot you.
With the experience already deteriorated, I can only say that the quality of the food is the least you’d expect for the bill you pay.

I came without high expectations, but assuming the place would be good. In the end I was disappointed.

Just WHOW. Fantastic sushi ???? in lots of novel and fancy ways, quite an experience. Very reasonable prices for drinks????????. It was sooooo good, we went two days in a row ☺️

Service outstanding, can recommend for business and fun.

Great place for sushi lovers. Premium quality at a reasonable price. It is just a bit more expensive that a regular sushi place so it is worth trying!
