There is always a great atmosphere in the Olivia Jones Bar. Good music and, thanks to the good bouncers, also a first-class audience. The bartenders always seem to be in a good mood.

I have to agree with another reviewer below. My husband and I tried to get in earlier this evening and were very rudely turned away at the door. This is NOT an LGBTQ friendly bar… I would highly suggest going to one of the bars in St. Georg instead. I love drag venues worldwide, but this seems to be a drag place catering only to German speaking straight people.

I wanted to go in with my husband. I got in but he couldn’t. The security guard told him no English people only Germans. I left too. Pretty poor for a ‘gay bar’ full of straight people.

Good atmosphere. Talented dancers in the burlesque show. It’s good to go once.

We had a great tour arround the Reeperbahn given by Vanity Trash. I can recommend this..

Place is a bit small, with a lot of smoke. Friendly atmosphere, but more of a straight bar with drag queen shows than a gay bar
