Marvelous experience.
Franz is an outstanding barkeeper.
I've been served a hot white tea and a uncooled bitter lemon.

A typical old fashioned Pub, mostly frequented by Natives of Hamburg, St. Pauli. A bottle of beer is 2.20, which is very reasonable. The staff is friendly as are the patrons who make any stranger deep at home. I go there pretty much every week, even though I live on the other side of town.

Looked promising from the outside so went in for a nice pint. However sadly the beer was warm, flat and was all head so took ages to serve. Then on top of that the bar waitress kept the change from the bill when I was distracted. Not impressed to be honest. Not going to go back. Would not recommend.

Fantastic time here, I'm sure the barmaid was more drunk than our group, shots where poured all over the bar. Jukebox was on and was a good laugh with the locals! Good price for drinks, will be back again when I next visit Hamburg.
