It was my third time at the NH COLLECTION HAMBURG CITY :)
As always it was a very nice stay. Rooms are very clean and spacious with a large bathroom. The Hotel is situated in St. Pauli (a very cool area) with a lots of great restaurants around. Perfect for a weekend trip with friends or family. Employees are super friendly and always willing to help you. I would truly recommend this hotel and for sure I will be back again soon!!!!

We visited Hamburg for the first time and this was our first hotel choice. NH Collection has good hotels in Germany so we knew this will be amazing too. Stayed here for several days was a very pleasant stay. We liked also the private parking option and large hotel lobby space. Amazing decorations and attention to details. The staff were kind and accommodating.

Great hotel, with nice staff.
The rooms are great and spacey. Cleaning was good.
Its located near the center of Hamburg, with nearby metro station, to get around easily.
The breakfast is expensive, at the price of 17 euro, pr person, for a buffet.

We stayed in this hotel for 4 days and 4 nights, and it was a comfortable stay! The room was clean, and the bathroom was nice. The room also came with a small mini fridge with drinks and snacks, although we bought out own food and drinks and stored it in the fridge (there wasn't much space). Our "2 beds" were 2 single beds put together to make a queen. The wifi worked very well. The breakfast in the mornings was fresh and delicious! I loved the assortment of fresh fruits and juices. However, I found the selection to be the same and I got tired of it by the 3rd and 4th days. The main complaint I have though, is that the air conditioning was not working in our unit. I first called the reception and he helped me figure out how to use the thermostat properly (it does not have any temperature settings and just has "+" and "-" and different levels of fan strength, labeled as "1, 2, 3"), but it was still not very cool in our room. The lobby and hallways were cooler than our room. I went to tell the receptionist downstairs and she did not offer to relocate us but gave us a fan instead. It worked well, but it was still quite hot during our stay, especially at night. We also did not open the windows, as there is no screen so flies kept coming in. Otherwise, our stay was great! The receptionist was also really kind and patient, and he helped me call our airline to solve some flight issues.

Stayed here for business and brought the family. The Family Room, that had a door between bedroom and living room, was just what we needed. The kids slept on the couch bed just fine. I rarely heard any neighbors. Ask for a view of the courtyard instead of the street. Walking distance to metros, bus lines, and the Messe convention center. It’s is walkable downtown if desired. Lots of good restaurants nearby.

First of all - I did not stay in the Hotel, because my company's booking department did a mistake in the booking (one month later than needed) and in such a case you really see if a hotel is good or not!

So - as said - the booking was made and already paid in full - NOT refundable!

So, when something really goes bad, you see if the business partner - in this case the hotel - was the right choice; they refunded the entire amount for the booking, although they did not have to.

Thank you NH Collection Hamburg City for being so fair!
My next booking will definitely be with you again - just with the correct dates! ????

Comfortable hotel located on the heart of the city, all attractions, malls, central station, restaurants, Reperbahn are steps away. There is also a really nice amusement seasonal park DOM just in front of the hotel, great entertainment both for kids and adults. Very recommended.
