Great mineralogical collection with a wide variety of specimen. Beautiful arrangement after localities and examples of industrial processes and purposes of the minerals.
Also very nice samples of meteorites as well as huge micas.
Would recommend visiting this place, not too big but worth it

I super loved it!! There were 180 million year old slices of petrified tree truncks and a rare slab of sandstone which looked like a landscape painting. For people who do not know German, it is difficult to read all the details. Best to take a friend who knows German...

Pretty interesting. Very academic. It is free but they will request a donation on your way out so have a Euro or two on you to give if you can.

Perfect museum for gem lovers! Beautiful exhibition and special arrives from every region of the planet! Especially the diamond section is great! Highly recommended for science enthusiasts and families
