Lovely place that still has his charm :) the last time I was here was over 10 years ago and it’s still like than. Staff are friendly and the cakes are yummy and homemade. The also have the best scones that I ever had in my life and many different tea’s. I love it

Very pleasant tea/coffee house. They have a lovely selection of teas, and cakes. They are apparently famous for the cake serving size, which is XXL, and the cakes do not disappoint. If you go on a Sunday, after 14h00 they only offer cakes and tea/coffee so if you want actual food it's best to go another day. Also on Sundays you want to get there before 14h30 because it starts getting crowded and a big line forms outside waiting for a table.

Nice place, nice food a little too slow in service but either way it is a nice cozy place to rest and eat a lot of nice food. The service was good too.

Went in spontaneously on Saturday morning around 11am for breakfast. Lovely decor and interior- the waiter who served us was unfortunately grumpy and unfriendly - terrible service - coffee was awful - the presentation of the food was also unimpressive considering the prices - and they didn’t give us a bill or receipt- - charged us a random amount for our food - totally unprofessional- i would have normally queried it but to be perfectly honest, by this time we were fed up as we had waiting so long for the food that we just wanted to get out of there. Completely unpleasant experience. Shame that the service didn’t match the expectations for what looked from the outside at least, to be a lovely cafe. I think their staff need training on how to greet and serve customers and how to present food so it is appealing.

Enjoy their awesome apple-cake after a walk at Elbe beach. Staff can sometimes be stressed and unfriendly and the air lacks oxygen, when the café is crowded - but the cake is worth it.
