A very good value for money and for a last minute booking in Hamburg. The room bare and basic, exhibited some strange sounds but otherwise very clean.
The staff were friendly and helpful and forthcoming. The location is a bit off the Airport but reachable via public transport.

I was not happy to find a long outdoor confusing walk from airport to the hotel. There is no signage, no shuttle service, no help, and not a straight path. This is labeled as and airport hotel, but hardly. I arrived at night in the dark felt the walk could even be unsafe. What if it was raining, etc. When I got inside the hotel, I was not welcomed. The reception person was very off putting, short, and offered little. I went to my room and it was cold - the thermostat was not working for any heat. I had to go back to the lobby, and they got a portable radiator that I had to lug up to my room - it was heavy. This place gives Ibis a bad name. Please refund my money. I should have just taken the train from the airport to town as that would have been quicker and seamless. Instead, I picked this hotel because of my scheduled late arrival thinking it would be better located.

The rooms were clean, bed was comfortable. Location great, 10 min walk from airport terminals. Good overall experience.

First stay at Ibis Hamburg Airport, and maybe not as fancy as other hotels in Hamburg I already stayed at but definitely a satisfactory experience. Also really close to my office.

Comfortable beds and clean rooms. Quick service at the lobby.
The rooms have only little space for a lot of luggage

The bed is confortable, bathroom a little too small, everything very clean.

I would find it expensive if not for the location. Didn't hear any planes, though doors closing can be a tad loud.

Asked for extra blanket and pillows for extra comfort and got both, great for reading in bed and different heat needs between my partner and I.

Free Christmas cookies at the entrance.

Walk feels a lot lot shorter on foot without suitcases than with. Plan 20-25 minutes if you got a heavy load.

Doesn't feel super well connected to things other than airport, if we were staying longer but still had early flight I'd recommend only staying here the last night.
