I must say it was ok because of the whole place... however my room wasnt. The whole place was pretty nice, in a quiet area of Hamburg, with a spacious garsen and the manager was nice. The thing is, some cheap rooms were in the basement and mine was one of them, and it wasnt that good. The double beds werent high enough so down there on my bed i couldnt even sit from the one above, the smell was nasty and the other room didnt have the door in the hallway but needed to enter in our room and then in their. Some person was using perfume a lot and it was just really unpleasant

I just had a horrible experience in here. Ill do a summary with points:
1) Bad smell in the basement
2) There is no 24/7 reception as they said. In fact the owner goes to bed at 22 and if you arrieve 1 minute later he does not care if you paid and have a reservation. I called him as this time as I was running to make it before ten and I made it like 5 minutes later, I called him and he shouts at me and does not help at all.
3) The owner: he does not solve anything and just makes you go from email to Whatsapp for no reason.
4) I also did not get much sleep in those beds around so many people.

I guess price-quality is ok but I would spend a bit more and avoid this terrible customer service. Only thing that made the experience memorable were the guests there. Do not come here.

Absolutely worst place I've ever stayed in, avoid at all cost. Dirty, smelly worker motel with hostile owner.

Nice place)
Extremely nice for the price, interesting people around, relaxed atmosphere.
Shower is always busy, earplugs recommended)

Cheap, so cannot expect much. We chose this because we were traveling north and wanted to bypass Hamburg already. It's very easy to reach, not so easy to find a parking spot (residential area). The facilities are definitely ok (kitchen, garden, bathroom), but the communal bedroom was a bit basic.

All stars for this top hotel! Run by a committed team, so friendly, so helpful. It's located in a quiet quarter, metro and bus station nearby. Quiet tidy rooms, free super fast Wifi, stylish design, kitchen provided. This is a perfect hostel for anyone looking for a place to stay in this special city!
