If you are a woman, but not dressed up to go clubbing, you will be ignored at best or run over by the macho servers, at worst. I’ve never felt more unwelcome and invisible by an entire staff. The food wasn’t special, it was overpriced, and the side of disgust from the staff was just too much.

Every waiter is rude and waiting to get their days through. Food is average. Ambiance is okay because of their playlist. Overall, is terrible to be grunted at when you are choosing their business.

This is the corner that gives you a taste of Italy ! We were there to celebrate a birthday and we were blown away by the service ,food and vibe.There was a great comunication and the food was super delicious . I recommend when visiting Hamburg , you should definitely visit this Restaurant.

They do so good spaghetti and fast and friendly , not easy from me to give 5stars but they deserve it , Note : im talking only about the spaghetti i didn't try something else ????

If you are looking to hangout with friends, have a nice dinner, and have some drinks, this is the place to go. Wonderful environment (although it is quite different from a typical German restaurant). I guess you could compare it more to a bar-restaurant mix. Fair priced and cool place to be. Staff is pretty fun too. Just don’t get the lasagne ????.

A friend and I were originally meant to go somewhere else which was closed, so we stumbled across Giovanni’s and I’m so glad we did. Had such a lovely time here - the food was amazing! The first room was really really loud, so we were glad to be put in the somewhat quieter area. Our waiter looked after us amazingly - we were sitting for no more than 5 minutes and he brought us over two complementary glasses of Prosecco. Then, one of our main dishes was not the one we ordered, but he gave us the wrong dish on the house and still delivered the correct one. I was amazed by the outstanding service from this man! He also made us a complementary apéritif for desert which was delicious and the perfect end to our absolute feast…will definitely be returning!
