It’s not eye catching or a fancy place but you should try it! It’s fresh it’s fast it’s delicious! Try the grilled calamaris or anything from the fish variation that’s definitely fresh! The people are friendly and if you are lucky you don’t have to wait for a sit! Prices are bit higher than earlier but it’s fair for what you get , portions are fair and drinks are cold! Visit it for lunch in a sunny day!
I am talking one star because you can’t pay with card so you need to have cash

Nice place for trying good fish. I think sitting places are not the most comfortable and best next to the street but definitely worth trying the food.

Food with soul. Fish was cooked perfectly, chips are perfectly crispy. However, my favorites are the squid and shrimps. Next time I come back, I’ll have just those with chips. So so good! Highly recommended!

Seafood is fresh, delicious and value for money. Highly recommend if you want to try seafood in Hamburg in a casual way.

I grew up with this place. We got our fish in bread here after we finished classes. Used to go there in my university time at least once a week. Came back to Hamburg after 5 years - well, it’s ok but by far not the same. Quality decreased, service is just tired from the constant tourist stream so there is no heart any more. It’s not bad, but far from great. Still worth visit but not a must anymore. Sad.

Not cheap, however the quality of the fish was superb. Really fresh and cooked well - the portion was incredibly generous as well. Thank you
