Visited 5/6. The biggest disappointment of my Hamburg visit. Service was rude. I felt pressured to tip even though they did not bring the food to the table (tip for what?) When I did not tip they short-changed me twice hoping I would not notice. The 3 minute wait they told me for the apple cake became 15 mins. Great location however.

If you are looking for a regular schick and luxury hotel, forget this place. But if you are looking for a fantastic different experience and having a chance to be in an old wooden ship, that's it, welcome on board.

Small but lovely rooms, clean enough, enough breakfast in a lovely environment, friendly staff and having small window towards water almost the same level as your bed. That's amazing, isn't it?

Great restaurant, with delicious food. While a little pricy, the view makes up for it. If it wasn't for our slightly rude waitress, it would be a 5 star. My meal was a delicious burger, and was only 11 Euros because it was a lunch special.

I've been there for a business dinner, since the group was quite large we dined in the lower deck.
The service was very friendly and quick, beverages were served from a nice wooden bar. The dinner buffet was quite varied, mainly fish courses.
For sure the highlight is the location, it's not common to dine inside an old lightship.
