Franziska is a wonderful host, very attentive and willing to help her guests. The two stories house it's a perfect place for a couple or a family looking for a comfortable, spacious place while visiting Hamburg, it is really well located near the most interesting areas of the city, and one can easily get into public transportation from its location. The bathroom is very comfy and spacious, the beds are perfect for a good rest after a long day in the city, and the TV room is cozy and warm for the cold months and fresh during the hot days of summer. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again at Franziska's house, it's really hard to get a similar great and unique place for the same price in this wonderful city!. 5 ⭐ out of 5 ⭐!

Super central, love the street outside. Yet quiet in the back yard where the cottage lies. Yes, it's actually your own, small house in the back yard.

Great host, everything was as described. We even got a few pointers about where to eat in Paul-Roosen-Straße (there are so many restaurants and cafés there, choosing is actually difficult). Fell in love with Hamburg on this trip, our first time there. Stayed for 5 days.

Only downside (for some, not for us): Kitchen facilities are limited. But why not eat out when there are som many good places to try? I recommend the Krug restaurant just up the street, 2 minutes walk max. Super fresh ingredients and food made right there in front of you in a separate area adjacent to the bar.

Five stars for the lodging, area, communication and all, no doubt. Will come back, when in Hamburg next time.
