Many years ago, das Bistro was located in Ohlsdorfer Str. and I would get the Croque Madame to go, since it was so good and so affordable for a student like me. On some days, I splurged and went for the Lasagne. Both menu items became my favourites. The Croque is just on another level to all other German croque sandwiches I had, the crunchy baguette, the ingredients/toppings, the heavenly garlic sauce. And the lasagna is also authentic italian trattoria level. And after so many years, after moving out of Hamburg, whenever i come back here, the croque and lasagna taste exactly the same. If there is a gastronomy award for consistency, dasBistro would have earned it.

I don't know how many times I've been here already and was never disappointed with food. Great casual restaurant! As soon as they appeared on Foodora they also became our no.1 pizza delivery.
Staff is very nice but very "Winterhude", what is to expect in an area like this.

Unexpectedly great food! Really great quality pasta, we tried three of them, all were perfect and taste was well-balanced. Highly recommended

This is one of my favourite places: great food, good prices, reliable service. I've had the spaghetti salsicia probably thirty times and I still love it.good espresso as well!

Used to be much better. Unfortunately the quality of the cooking has dropped substantially

Super nice pizzas. I recomend the chorizo pizza.
