Great place with nice view to Opera house (Elbphilarmonie) in Hamburg. The turbot fish with bacon(no 57 in menu) was delicios, it was tasty and the portion was enough and of course bier. The staff are nice and friendly.

On a sunny autumn day, where else to go for a snack except the harbour? Service at The Captain's Dinner was friendly, helpful, and delivered in at least three languages. Food was good and reasonably priced. Choice was a bit limited, but this is a harbour side bar not a high end restaurant. What you get is good service, good basic food and a fair price. I would go again.

great service and food, restaurant seemed short staffed for how busy it was at the moment so i wouldn't comment on service but she did very well considering

The quality of coffee was great, however the behavior of staff made the environment so weird for us, they tried their best to not let us enter the restaurant in checking covid test certificate step. Although i had my certificate in my cellphone, the lady said no! I can’t let you in, i said wait i also have the original version in my bag, after showing it she said no i can’t let you because the date of your last vaccine is not more than some days and then she said ok i was wrong you are fine to enter, the interesting part was that she that was trying to act really smart even didn’t check the certificate with my ID card. It could be anyone’s certification in my bag! We felt a little bit racism in those 2 lady staff behavior to be honest.

Very typical German restaurant with fresh seafood and classical dishes. Location is beautiful with views to the harbor and you get a feeling of being in a boat. You can see this place is popular as it was packed while most places around had barely any clients.

The food is very good, but weitress was unfriendly and spoke german to me even though she knew that I speak english.
