The medical staff in the emergency wing is by far the best staff I have seen in Germany.
Although I had to wait in the waiting room for quite long but at the end it was all worth it. The doctor was very kind and helpful and the helping staff including nurses were very kind and made me very comfortable as I was in pain.
Again thank you for your kind services :)

I have waited on average about 2 hours before being seen by any doctor. Almost no one speaks any English and are also not kind, attentive, or skilled. If you can make it to another hospital, try.

(HNO / ENT-Review) We had a great experience here. All of the staff and doctors are very caring and charming. We didnt have any issues language wise (englisch). I can recommend for everyone who is looking for proper treatment.

(Translated by Google) My impressions of the BwK Hamburg are mixed and mixed...
On the one hand I can say that the nursing staff and the doctors were excellent. Very nice, friendly and committed. The doctors took their time, thoroughly examined and exhausted all diagnostic options. In these points, I felt more than in excellent hands.
But then there is the other side...
The more than uncomfortable and spartan cafeteria is a joke! Unfriendly staff, no choice and no seating, only to go. And to make matters worse, it is only open to patients every day until 10 a.m., after that it is only open to staff. That is not possible!!
The same applies to the reception staff, who also give the impression that their job is to scare away patients rather than to welcome them.
And last but not least, I would like to talk about the food. Consistently frozen and finished products, strange combinations and small portions. One day, for example, there were simply 2 hard-boiled eggs with a little sauce and a mini portion of frozen vegetables for lunch (whole food!!) The attached photo shows a meatball (finished product) with dried carrots and a few spaetzle. The bread in the morning and in the evening was always hard and dry as a bone, just as you know it from the military kitchens of the Bw.

Unfreundliches Personal, keinerlei Auswahl und keine Sitzmöglichkeiten, nur to Go.

(Translated by Google) Preliminary talk at FU1 was really great, nice and competent doctor. Had my gastroscopy today, nursing staff was really great but the doctor didn't go at all. Told myself I'm simulating and asked for the third time if I wasn't just pregnant. ????????????????

????????????????
