Small cozy Korean restaurant, we enjoyed the cute atmosphere. Love their spicy beef soup and hot honey grapefruit tea, very authentic! However, it was very crowded today, we waited for 50 minutes to finally receive our dishes. The lady and the staff were very nice though.

This is a cozy eatery managed by a couple who does it all by themselves.

I love the food and vibe here, the crispy fried chicken in particular; it's the ultimate comfort food that keeps us coming back for more.

If you didn't know about this place before, you would think that it is just a usual cliche Asian Imbiss. But here is where the best fried chicken in Hamburg is made!

Avoid however, if:
- You don't want to smell like grease afterwards (take-away is your option).
- You don't want to hear the chef chopping chickens in the open kitchen, which can be seen properly from the dining area.
- You have first date with someone you don't know good enough yet.
- You want good noodles with black bean sauce. It tasted too normal for me. But the portion is big.
- You don't want to freeze in winter. They always keep the main door open for ventilation, so eating in winter here is not ideal.
- You want to pay by card.

Come here if:
- You want to support a lovely Korean family.
- You are drinking beer at the nearby bar and want some fried chicken to snack with. Fried chicken is welcomed there, just don't open the pickled radish box!
- You come in a big group and want to do Korean BBQ and have some fried chicken.
- You want to feel like a cool kid discovering a hidden gem in this big city.

The restaurant is run by a Korean couple.
The food presentation (I mean the appearance and the colour) is OK.
The taste is authentic but not too amazing. I personally think that the chicken meat tastes a bit chai 柴 (u003dnot tender). The coating of the fried chicken is not really crispy and crunchy. Also, they could have marinated the chicken better so that the taste will sink into the chicken meat. The sauce (sweet sour) is perfect, though.

Bibimbap is ok, but it is not served in a stone pot. The food gets cold easily. Kimchi-s are separately charged.

The place is small and I personally think the imbiss is too smelly, and after dining in the imbiss, all my cloths and hair smell awful.

The service style is help yourself. You write your oder on a piece of paper, wait (waiting time is a bit too long in my opinion, we waited for more than 30 mins in the imbiss to get our fried chicken), pick up the food, and eat. The attitude, friendliness and helpfulness of the owners are average.

The QR code you scan on the table links to a menu which you can check on your smart phone. But the price in the e-version is different from the paper menu. They should update them and make them consistent and not confuse the customer.

Very original Korean taste. So, if you like authentic Korean food you should definitely check out this restaurant. Very friendly couple who own the restaurant.

Other than long long long waiting time (we 2persons 1.5h) was everything good. The top 1 Korean fried chicken in Hamburg, other dishes were ok, not bad. Self-service and cash only.

A very pleasant surprise considering the name and the very basic decor.

If you’re looking for great and attentive service, this place probably isn’t for you - but honestly we didn’t mind.

The food is so tasty and authentic. We ordered the fried chicken and were not disappointed!! So tasty. The Jja Jang Myeon was also nice, although definitely not the highlight of the meal, and the mandu were super tasty!

We’ll be back!

** TIP!! ** arrive early before the queue forms outside!
