I did stay here for 2days. There was a big man whose smell was so bad. It seemed like he was a worker near the port. The terrible point was that his smell was like fish. I tried to change my room because there were plenty of empty roooms on that day. I explained my situation to the manager. However, he told me there was no room vacant and all were booked. The truth was that there was No People except two of me and the dirty guy. I think this was a bit of racism against Asian traveler. Never try to use this one.

Stayed in a six bed very clean room with great showers. Everything had been taken into consideration plugs, WiFi, even little labels to name your food in the kitchen which is also well equipped. Staff are friendly, and the guide they gave our party was useful. Would stay here again.

This hostel Is very nice and silent, it's a pretty new building, the rooms are big enough, the toilets and the showers are very clean.
The staff is kind and helpful. U didn't use the kitchen but I saw that is useful.
Moreover the hostel is located 5 mins walk to the underground/trains station.

Cozy hostel with friendly staff.
Clean and comfortable rooms.
In the kitchen you can find everything you need to cook

Halfway through my stay so far. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable (and don't make too much noise—nice when you're the early bird of the room) and the kitchen is well-equipped.

My only two gripes are that the location is a bit out of the way (the street it's on is primarily an office park and residential area, but it is still easy to get into town or to the shops via S-Bahn) and that there is only one rubbish bin. Being in a country such as Germany, I am shocked (and fairly disappointed) that they are not encouraging guests to properly sort their waste; rather, everything goes into one big bin, from banana peels to glass bottles. :(

Stayed in 6 bed room wth en-suite shower: clean room and comfortable bed clothes + towels. Staff are very friendly and helpful! The commons area is also very nice for sitting down to read a book before bedtime on the sofa. Proximity to local s-Bahn station makes this a great budget stay in Hamburg.

Highly recommended.
