Nice spot but mediocre food given the price. About what you’d expect for a trap by the lake. Despite this I’d certainly come back, just keep expectations reasonable.

Nice lakview restaurant. Breakfast was good. The service, especially by the guy who serms to be running the place, not only far too slow and insufficient, but also really unfriendly and borderline rude. A pity!

This place is placed in stunning area, but…
1. Food is tasty, sadly had a stomach issues after it :(
2. Coffee wasn’t too tasty (I think I’m a ‘coffee snob’ so coffee done by coffee machine and not by barista is not something that will ever rated well ????)
3. Not too foreigners friendly, ordering is via website. Website with selected English as a language redirected us to the German menu… and waiter didn’t speak English ????

I think I wouldn’t mind the English issues and the coffee, if me and my partner didn’t get food poisoning after visiting this place…

The service was efficient but not friendly. Food and drinks were ok but nothing to write home about. There are plenty of large tables suitable for big groups. This is definitely a place you come to for the view. For this I would come back again.

Great location, awesome view and very friendly staff. They provide blankets to warm you. I had the pasta with lachs and shrimps, it tastes really good. The creme brulee was cold but veey delicious.
All in all its worth a visit.

Best place to sit beside Alster. Menu is acceptable.
