Fascinating character. The museum is in two parts, (on either side of the road), and both are top quality exhibitions. The place is clean, staff were friendly and helpful. The exhibits all have full English interpretations. Technology is used very well throughout and was very factual. Obviously being a museum based mainly on one person, it could easily become either hero-worship or demonization, but it does very well to give the impression of a factual and constructive understanding of an important economist and politician that faced similar hurdles that politics encounter today.
I was disappointed that I didn't see Ludwig's book 'Wohlstand für alle' in the museum shop. It would be a great seller in both German and English. I know because I wanted to read it after visiting, thankful I could download a free ebook version easily off the interwebs after a quick search.

Edit: 12 month later than my initial review. I’ve returned to see that they now stock Erhard’s book ‘Wohlstand für Alle’ in it’s English translation as ‘Prosperity through competition’. A great read and a fantastic compliment to the museum experience.

Als Teilnehmer einer Gruppenführung wurde ich sehr beeindruckt. Sowohl die Mitarbeitenden des Museums, als auch die Führung selbst waren super sympatisch, kompetent und hilfsbereit.
Fotografieren? Klar, kein Problem! Mein Helm passt leider nicht ins Schliessfach... Kein Problem, den verwahren wir gerne an der Info!
Das Museum selbst ist sehr, gepflegt und die Ausstellungsstücke fast liebevoll zusammengestellt. Es ist gut gegliedert und zeigt anschaulich das Leben Erhards, die damalige Zeit und den Zeitgeist. Klar war ich damals nicht dabei, aber ich hatte nach dem Besuch ein bisschen das Gefühl...????
Ich kann das Museum nur empfehlen! Allerdings sollte man sich Zeit nehmen und evtl. mehrmals hingehen...

Die Ausstellung erstreckt sich vom Geburtshaus bis ins neue LEZ. Viele sehr interessante Exponate, mich hat vor allem der Briefwechsel mit Adenauer beeindruckt sowie die wieder erstandene Sammlung aus seinem Privatbesitz. Für mich ist der Besuch ein Muss. Das sollte es auch für Schulklassen sein. Zeitgeschichte hervorragend dargestellt.
