Don't get fooled by the cheap bike prices. I bought a road bike RC120 from Fürth branch at march 2022 at delivery day i found that the bike is totally dirty from workers hands so I asked them to clean it. then I discovered that the paint is defected and the stuff were nice and they offered me a voucher. I took the bike and I had to go back for adjustments every 20 kilometres as the bike was badly assembled from the beginning as they commented that now the parts are damaged and they don´t have spare parts. Finally I decided to repairs myself and sold the bike after 2 months. as it was waste of time and money .

Perfect service from very professional and human bicycle experts. The employee with the charming french accent who is working there (Thomas I think) was absolutely lovely and helped me a lot thanks to his relevant tips about the bike I was looking for.
Thorsten and Suhaib were also very kind and participated to improve my experience there at decathlon fürth.
Thank you to the whole bicycle team !

I've spent a lot of money at this store and online but recently ran into a HUGE problem. I bought a mountain bike for my daughter to use for going to School. The item was already built when we collected it and assumed it had been put together and "serviced" as per the website info.

The first time she used the bike, the front brake bracket and brake pads fell off the bike causing her to crash and fall into the road. She was very nearly hit by a passing car. We also discovered that a big chunk of the tyre was missing and the tyre fibres were showing.

We contacted Decathlon support who didn't reply for more than 2 weeks. The reply simply said that they'd passed our support request to the bike team. I've heard nothing now in several weeks despite numerous emails to them. We just want a bike that is safe to use!!!

I will no longer be purchasing anything from Decathlon.

I probably left around 1000 euros in the Fürth store during the past year for a lot of biking and running stuff, plus casual clothing. Selection is very similar to other Decathlon. Prices are quite good, not always super cheap but a lot of good value items. I have to commend Decathlon for making a lot of good products for running, cycling, and outdoor / casual wear. I mean I used a backpack in the past 3 years I got from them for about 30 euro. It's still pretty sturdy and has no issues. They told me it had 10 years warranty. I mean that's quite absurd, and if it only lasted 3 I would have been happy for the prices but it's still going strong.
Some of the clothing items are not super durable but it was always a value for money option. The lower end stuff is really entry level to your sports, adequate for the use, not especially good or durable, but good enough for casual use and trying out stuff.
In Fürth I had similar experiences as in other Decathlon stores. I have to say staff was always friendly and helpful to me, something uncharacteristic in Germany (sorry, my experience with retail, services, or institutions). Warranty or changing wrong sizes works great and without hassle at least that was my experience so far.

Good selection of sports wear - but the store has the charme of a pallet depot. The people are friendly and bring order into the mess the customers leave behind. You should know what you need as there is no valuable counseling by the staff.

I love the store. Good prices, big variety of products. My only tip is to pay attention to the discount sessions. Products there have no price tag and you might get a little surprised when paying. Unfortunatelly i paid too much for somethings.... there were cheaper options even without discounts :(
