I went into the store today (27.11.21) to the baby department to look for furniture, the sales lady Serban Maria-Elena was extremely helpful u0026 had great knowledge of the products there, she was very professional and spoke English with me as my German is not particularly good! She was able to answer all of my questions and was even able to help me to secure a bit of a discount from the department manager (who was also very polite u0026 friendly!) A++ service

Advice to the potential customers: Just avoid them.

Reasoning: This is one of the worst service I have encountered and I was on 4 different continents. This level of non-professionalism I haven't met anywhere, not even in the West African countries. At this moment I am considering to contact customer protection authority to deal with XXXLutz.

Detailed explanation:
After paying all the furniture in advance I clearly stated when furniture needs to be delivered and the seller agreed.
Problem 1. On the date of the delivery, delivery called me in the middle of the working hours and give 20 mins to come home and wait for them. At the bill it was clearly stated that they need to call at least one hour earlier, but no one told them.
Problem 2. They came only with the part of the purchased furniture.
Problem 3. I called the contact center to see what is happening with the rest and get reassuring that the rest is coming in 2 days. Nearly 2 MONTHS passed since and NOTHING was delivered. 4 or 5 times so far I have called call center to rearrange the delivery or cancel it and request refund, all I get were false promises of delivery.
They will make an appointment and not even bother to cancel it, since they are not coming. You are forced to wait for them whole afternoon (usually delivery is 13 to 18h) and realize that you are deceived.

By far the worst experience i had with a furniture shop.
We ordered a sofa wich took around 13 weeks to arrive. We insisted several time that the otoman needs to be on the right side (we draw even a sketch in the contract) otherwise it is not fitting in our living room. And surprise surprise it arrives of course on the wrong side and the nightmare begins. We called immediately because we had no place for 2 sofas in the living room and we needed a pickup asap.
Little did I know... It s been almost 3 weeks, the sofa is still in the living room, they just ping pong the fault of the wrong order in between departments and/or producer.
We needed to call literally everyday, several times per day just to clarify that is the wrong sofa requesting everytime new pictures even if it was compleatly clear already from the first one that it is the wrong side. Is never the right department when you call so they always say someone will call us immediately which they never do.
We were not even insisting at this point on when the right sofa will arrive but to just come and pick the wrong one. 3 weeks just to get to the point to get an appointment to pick up their wrong order and we still could not get a commitment, this is outrageous.
So much incompetence I never seen in my entire life. Customer service nonexistant.
For the amount of money we poured into this company I m expecting an outstanding and fast customer service.
Enough is enough, today we will call again (because of course they will not go to the trouble to ever call once) and ask for a refund and cancel the whole process.
If you can, just stay away from this company. It is not worth all the trouble, your patience and time.

They delivered the wrong piece for the wardrobe, it took 8 phone calls to be able to make them recognise the problem. The quality of the furniture is definitely below average. The customer service is a nightmare. Overall i strongly regret dealing with this company.

The interior decorator does a great job in decorating the new products to appeal to the shoppers. The furniture is more expensive here but the quality is not bad. The customer service here is friendly. If you order a big bulky item, you have to drive to a nearby warehouse to collect it.
They have a loyalty card scheme which send you vouchers for product purchases or even to dine at their restaurant.
Food at the family restaurant is good enough to fill your hungry tummies.
They even offer an alteration service for your curtains, and other fabric uses.

I really like to come here because they have beautiful accessories to the interior design, but the prices are quite high.

Restaurant Lutz was so lousy with their service. Food were good but took us so long to finally eat. Suppe came after the hauptspeise????
