Cannot recommend. The rooms look different than on the photos, much worse in reality. Rooms on 1st floor might have pavement where people can see the inside of your room. The AC was not working, I was told to use the fan and that it's not possible to change the room. After checking that there are available rooms on the website and some discussion with the reception, they changed the room to the one with AC. The view on the lake is only from the tarrace. Make sure you check out the photos thoroughly before you book and ensure you've got what you expect to have and paid for. Location is great though.

Have been staying here for almost a week. I have to say the staff have been good, the room is lovely and modern even though it's still waiting on ac being installed but the heating system is still great I haven't been cold once. Very close to the Lakeside wonderful area to walk around but it's the off season and I'm working so not sure how much there would be to do normally but there are plenty of shops about. The bar in the hotel is ok and the pool is lovely not that big but great for a few laps and a relax.

Overall it was a nice stay. Breakfast is varied and delicious. Bed is comfy but moves when you turn over, pillows are not great. Location is pretty good in the center with a lot of options nearby

Great location, helpful staff and outstanding breakfast.
Family-run hotel in great location just two minutes away from Lake Constance. Staff was friendly and accommodating, always available and always with a smile.
Best hotel breakfast in terms of variety, quality and availability even towards the end of the breakfast hours (7 to 11 am on weekends). The breakfast beats pretty much everything I’ve seen in the last years.

I will not visit this hotel again and cannot recommend it.

The rooms were adeqate and clean, but this is where it ended as there were other, multiple issues.

1. The hotel is in a pedestrian zone. Hotel car parking is a lottery system and you cannot reserve a space. This prevented us from making day trips as we never knew whether we would have a space to park our car upon returning.
The alternative (a commerical underground car park nearby) is not adequate for those with wheelchairs or a family of small children. The hotel car park does not even feature a reserved disabled car parking space, which to my knowledge is against the law in Germany.

2. This wilful ignorance about disability needs continued throughout. The hotel, although modern, is full of barriers. The reaction of staff to wheelchair users and their needs is condescending and unhelpful and as such entirely unprofessional. There are no accessible rooms and the ones touted as such are inadequate and show little or no understanding of and concern for the needs of wheelchair users.

4. In the absence of managers, staff were by and large opinonated, headstrong, lecturing and unhelpful. Friendly and attentive behaviour was a rarity.

All in all, this may be a four star hotel on paper, but our experience did not match this.

Upscale rooms; well appointed and thoroughly modern. Staff is quite friendly. The complimentary breakfast is amazing - breakfast area is much like an upscale restaurant; very bright, clean, well decorated. Would definitely stay here again.
