If this is a Japanese garden I feel totally disappointed, it's a very little place that seemed its not so well maintain since long time and nobody care enough about even putting water and a fish pond... Very poorly decorate with a few trees and not so many nice architecture apart of the door that seemed a entrance of a restaurant... Nothing extraordinary to visit and loose time if you come to Freiburg.

It's a very small garden with a Japanese theme. No water in the miniature lake beds when we went in April though. Still, quite nice.

One of the nicest retreat spaces in Freiburg. Located next to Seepark, the small garden acts like a small hidden gem where people go to enjoy nature. Totally recommend it if you're here in Freiburg and you're looking for nice places to enjoy and/or if you want a nice place where you can take photos with a great background.
