I gave birth to my first child late August in the Diakonie. The team of midwifes/ doctors who took charge as we arrived and all along has been great, listening and understanding.
However, moving up on the stationary room was another deal.... a big lack of empathy, nobody to show you how to feed or change you newborn basically the first steps for being a mom. I was so weak going home that I have almost gave up breastfeeding! Could really be improved.

Dr. Schumacher und Frau Dr. Kaltenbach haben mir endlich helfen können und mit ihrer fachlichen Kompetenz endlich für eine Diagnose und Heilung gesorgt. Ich bin unbeschreiblich dankbar. Das ganze Team war sehr bemüht, nett und auch die Kommunikation untereinander hat hervorragend funktioniert. 2,5 Stunden Fahrt dort hin haben sich gelohnt und würde ich jederzeit wieder auf mich nehmen.

Wir können den Kreißsaal und die Wochenstation der Diakonie Freiburg nur empfehlen! Super professionell, emphatisch und immer genau richtig war die Betreuung der Hebammen und Ärztinnen während der Geburt. Das Team der Wochenstation hat sich im Anschluss hervorragend um uns gekümmert und wir haben uns total wohl gefühlt.
Das Familienzimmer war super und wir konnten uns ganz auf das Kennenlernen unseres zweiten Wunders einlassen.
Sollten wir nochmal ein Kind bekommen, mit Sicherheit in diesem Krankenhaus! :-) VIELEN DANK an alle!
