You can tell it was once a beautiful place but it definitely needs some TLC now.

After you have paid for your stay, you are supposed to buy shower coins. Cash. Don't have cash on you? You'll get a frown, and a €5 surcharge for paying with credit or debit card.
The size of the pitches is fine,that is if you get one for yourself. We were squeezed in between two other camper vans, sharing two pitches with the three of us.
Fact that there were (and remained till we left) lots of free pitches around us made the whole experience a bit of a disappointment.

We paid €72 for two nights, excluding access to the showers, sharing our pitch with another camper van.

Very nice place to stay, view by the lake is great. Facilities nice and clean.
Met the new owners, sounds like there are great plans being made.

Nice site, but a bit expensive and the tent field is very packed in. Swimming in silbersee is lovely though!

This campsite is a nightmare!
We were rejected last week, because we're Scottish!
What kind of racism is this??
We went near Offenburg to an other campsite, but we won't come back again to Breisgau Silbersee camping.
If there would be -5 stars, I would rate it that way..

Ohh my God!! I enjoyed ever single second I camped there!! The bathrooms and the toilet cleanliness is above the limit! Very very very clean. Cool atmosphere .. the see it’s self!! I cannot explain better but .... I love every single thing!!!!!!!!!

It's okay to stay there for a short trip. Facilities are very simple and the staff are bit messy to manage the camping. They didn't have found the reservation anymore, nonetheless we got a place to stay at the end luckely.
