This is my favourite place in Freiburg to get delicious, homely Indian food that is not at all heavy on the pockets. I always have the vegetarian platter that comes with six veggie dishes and rice and it's only 6 euros. And the mango lassie here is the best I've had in Germany! Sapan, who run the restaurant is always pleasant to talk to. It's a nice place to eat lunch alone as well. I think they accept only cash, but I'm not sure about this.

Great food and good conversation! The man running the restaurant is very friendly. The food is great and cheap. Perfect for students and the summer to take the food to go and go to the river to enjoy the sunshine.

A small place but the food was great. I just had a wonderful lunch for just 5.50€ and the chicken curry was delicious.

This place gives a below average food. Though the name of restaurant is basmati, the basmati pulav useds are of low quality, Needs a lot of improvemnt in service and quality of food

Absolut spitzen Essen, geschmacklich top und authentisch, außerdem sind die Gemüsecurrys vegan und die Preis-Leistung ist unschlagbar! Auch die Linsensuppe als Vorspeise, sowie die Samosas sind absolut empfehlenswert! Wir werden hier noch öfter her kommen!
