The food was excellent, service was very friendly and had a great local atmosphere. Best meat plate we have ever had. If you visit Frankfurt, make sure to visit this place!

One of the few original apfelwein places left. Very cozy environment, extensive menu, several apfelwein varietals to choose from. Even offers ceramic pitchers of their house apfelwein for families and groups.

Good food and actually friendly service which is not usually a case in traditional German places. They make their own Apfelwein and also their own apple juice which was a pleasant surprise. The menu is short and the place is not very big so you know the food is going to be good and it was!

We loved this place! Best schnitzel that I have had so far! So thin, crispy outside but tender inside. I don’t like to drink Apfelwein usually but their homemade Apfelwein somehow is so much tastier. We spent some nice time in their garden in early spring sunshine, relaxing, drinking and eating:)
