Walked in here one morning and spent almost 3 hours trying to figure out how to activate my German SIM card. Charming restaurant and staff were attentive and lovely. Had a light breakfast with baguette and many types of cheese. Loved the vibe so much that I came back the next day to try their lunch. Great vegetarian options too.

Came for dinner. After drinks, waited 30 min, server never came back, we walked into the kitchen to find the server. She informed us the kitchen had closed 3 min ago. 0 stars if possible.

Wunderbar is a true gem, especially compared to anything else you'll find in Höscht.
It's a cafe-bar and "lite resturant" where the atmosphere feels great and the food is quite decent. The staff actually knows english for a change, and is more than willing to help translate the german menu.
Their lemonade is simply refreshing and is a must-try. I recommend their "Birne-Rosmarin" lemonade.

This is one of my Frankfurt favourites. I've been visiting since 1991 and the formula hasn't changed and hasn't needed to. Good food and drink selection, relaxed style and a good crowd if you are looking for something a bit more contemporary than Schloßplatz like Zum Bären while in Höchst then this is number one.

Wunderbar is a nice place to get coffee u0026 sodas, a small breakfast, and/or light lunches. It is only 6 minutes by foot from the Frankfurt-Höchst train station.
