Such a disappointing experience. I am sure this was a beautiful hotel in the past, but unfortunately time (and lack of attention) have taken their toll.

The hotel is poorly maintained and dirty.

Location of the hotel is great. View onto the river is beautiful, and the price for the rooms is good. But unfortunately it wasn’t a good place to stay.

All door fittings were loose and detached. Same for fittings of the windows. Wood of the windows lost all paint and was rotting. Sink was dirty and had lot of hair in it. Toilet was dirty. Walls of bathroom were not cleaned and had non-defined dirt on them. Shower-head was full of solids and sprayed water everywhere except on me. Shower-box panels were loose and the door needed to be closed carefully not to fall out. The toilet flushing-mechanism fell out of the wall and needed to be pushed back in, in order to flush the toilet.

Chaircases were never cleaned. In my 3 days there, saw the same coffee stains, paper trash on the stairs all days.

People staying in this hotel apparently tend to be noisy. Until late there was a lot of noise. Smell of cigarette smoke was everywhere around and in the hotel.

Cheaters and thieves!
I booked this hotel on Booking (I use Booking many times in the year).
Paid 53€ with the card, for one night.
In the hotel, they wanted to pay 53€ + 10€ parking (I have experience with the double payment, but the hotels refunded me the second payment, NOT THIS ONE).
The guy at the front desk gave me an invoice only for 10€ (my fault I didn't check it, but you want to trust these people) and gave my 53€ to his own pocket.
I wrote to the hotel and they replied to me fast "show us any evidence, we are a hotel with a long tradition, this is not possible...".
I replied to them... "This evidence is sure on the camera footage and I asked the manager (in 3 emails) to investigate it..." from this time without an answer from this hotel...
Is not finally about the money, but principle.
Be careful on the cheaters in this hotel.
Ciao!

Very bad choice of Hotel from the @Lufthansa after delayed business class flight. Super hot room with dust and hairs on the floor, under the bed edges. There was the mold formation under the doors of shower. Wondering how @Lufthasa allocates hotel to any of their passenger.
Worst experience ever!

Absolutely not worth it. Rude staff members who didn’t even give us basic information.
Our room wasn’t ready in time, yet they told us our arrival time was fine.
For parking they told me I had to pay 10€ yet if I leave that spot and come back later it might be used by someone else. Excuse me? I would have paid for a spot and not get it?!
They told us we could come back after 11pm without a problem even though there was no one at the front desk. Yet we were stranded outside for 30 minutes in the middle of the night and had to call a number to finally get someone to come outside and let us in.
No one ever told us when to check out the next day, we had to find out on the internet.
The rooms were very warm without any AC.
Overall not worth it.

The smell of the rooms is the most negative thing about the hotel. In terms of cleanliness and service all was okay. The breakfast was good and they have a pub working late for everyone interested in some drinks.

Sleep here only if you have to. Don’t know if it is super cheap? Super friendly staff, but that doesn’t help… I’ve been booked here by Lufthansa after missing my connection flight. I’d leave the place if I had an alternative. Smelly and old.

I was yelled at by the clerk for daring to ask for a non feather pillow, as I am allergic.

Was forced to stay here due to cancelled Lufthansa flights, and I almost feel like I would have been better off sleeping in the airport. Does the airline not vet these hotels at all?

Looking at usual prices, €75 per night in this place is robbery.

Bed was basically a couch, complete with hard buttons in the mattress. Despite having only 3 hours available to sleep, I kept waking up. The room was stuffy, with no fresh air and very cheap furniture.
